      We found that we could make a drug that targets a specific protein that means it kills only breast cancer cells (not normal healthy cells)- in cells grown in the laboratory! its only the start but lots of people are interested in as well!

      I’ve helped to diagnose a lot of patients through the Epilepsy Lighthouse project with rare neurological diseases, which is fantastic. We hope to help a lot more patients with neurological problems as part of the FutureNeuro project here in RCSI as well!

      I suppose we are constantly learning about how our techniques work and what the benefits and limitations are!

      It seems that even cells that look normal under a microscope can already have signatures that tell that they are already at the early stage of cancer development
